Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 20 May 2026
These terms apply when you browse, register for, buy, or access Robert Todd Trends publications and related services through this website. By creating an account, placing an order, or accessing a publication, you agree to these terms.
1. Who We Are
The website is operated by Robert Todd Ltd. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Robert Todd Ltd. You can contact us at trends@roberttodds.com.
2. Publications and Access
Our products are professional fashion, textile, yarn, colour, retail, and trend publications. Unless a product is clearly described as including a printed copy, your purchase gives you online digital access only.
Digital publications are made available through your account as an online flipbook or online viewer. A purchase does not transfer ownership of the underlying publication, artwork, data, images, text, PDF file, design files, or intellectual property.
3. No PDF File Delivery
Digital access is provided online through this website. We do not sell, email, deliver, or guarantee access to a downloadable PDF file. You must have an internet connection, compatible browser, and active account access to view digital publications.
We may update, replace, maintain, or change the viewer technology from time to time, provided you continue to receive reasonable online access to the publication you bought.
4. Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure. Access is for the purchasing customer or organisation only and must not be shared publicly, resold, pooled, scraped, copied, or made available to unauthorised users.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account is being misused, shared unlawfully, used to copy our content, or used in breach of these terms.
5. Printed Copies and Delivery
Some publications are sold as “Print + digital”. Where a printed copy is included, the printed copy is delivered in addition to online digital access.
Printed copies are available for UK delivery only. We do not currently accept printed-copy delivery addresses outside the United Kingdom. If you provide an incomplete, inaccurate, or non-UK delivery address, we may contact you for correction, delay dispatch, cancel the print element, or refund/cancel the order where appropriate.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. During the first two weeks of a new print run, printed magazines may ship with a delay. Digital access is normally available immediately after successful payment.
6. Prices, Payment, and Taxes
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is processed by our payment provider. Your order is not complete until payment has been authorised and accepted. We may correct obvious pricing or description errors before accepting an order.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, exchange charges, bank fees, or card-provider charges that apply to your purchase.
7. Digital Content, Cancellations, and Refunds
Digital publications are made available shortly after payment. By buying digital content, you agree that digital access may begin immediately after purchase.
Because digital access starts immediately, you will not usually have a right to cancel purely because you changed your mind after access has been provided. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have if digital content is faulty, misdescribed, or not supplied.
For printed copies, cancellation or refund requests are considered case by case. We may refuse cancellation once a printed copy has been dispatched, unless you have a statutory right to cancel or receive a remedy.
8. Availability and Maintenance
We aim to keep the website and digital viewer available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, hosting issues, browser issues, internet problems, or events outside our reasonable control.
If a technical fault prevents access, our usual remedy is to restore access within a reasonable time or provide an alternative access method where appropriate.
9. Intellectual Property and Restrictions
All publications, images, illustrations, reports, text, layout, branding, viewer content, and related materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. All rights are reserved by Robert Todd Ltd and/or its licensors.
You must not, without our written permission:
- copy, reproduce, extract, download, scrape, print, scan, photograph, or redistribute publications except where expressly allowed;
- share account access, screenshots, files, links, or publication content outside your authorised use;
- resell, lend, sublicense, publish, upload, or make publications available to others;
- remove watermarks, notices, branding, access controls, or technical protections;
- use the content to train AI models or build competing databases, publications, reports, or services.
10. Business Use
Our publications are intended for professional reference and trend insight. They are not legal, financial, investment, safety, or compliance advice. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the information in your own business.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or losses caused by your failure to maintain suitable internet access, browser compatibility, account security, or accurate delivery information.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force at the time you place an order apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or is made for security, operational, or technical reasons.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you mandatory rights to use another court.
